ARTWORK COMMENTS: This sculpture was brought into the country in 2010. It is listed as "attribution to" as authentication is inconclusive. The piece has been viewed by numerous individuals familiar with the artist works. Most agree that it is unlikely that the work could have been constructed without Gabo's presence or input on its construction. There are initials stamped on the right edge of the base. The wood base probably was constructed "after" the sculpture. Extensive scientific testing has been performed on this piece and would be available to anyone with serious interest.
